Operation American Pride, Inc., is operated with absolutely no overhead expenses. My wife and I donate our time, effort and money to supporting the ideals behind assisting our military members.
I served in the U.S. Army from October 1967 – October 1987, and have worked with the military as a DoD civilian and as a contractor since retiring from the military. Our goal is to insure that today’s military members, no matter what service, is provided the assistance, the respect and the gratitude that they deserve. We have assisted many Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airman over the past two years and will continue to do so as long as there is a need.
Our organization assists wounded warriors during their recovery in the VA hospitals, we assist young families who just can’t make ends meet while their bread winner is deployed to the war zone. Do you realize that many young military families have to rely on food stamps! Why is this? You see, when that young military member is at home he/she is usually working a part-time job to make ends meet, being deployed takes away that extra income!
We assist family members in their first year of community college. We assist family members to be able to afford to be at the hospital to support their loved one during his/her recovery. We assist financially while their loved one is deployed.
If everyone who reads this e-mail would donate $ 1.00 to support Operation American Pride, Inc in assisting our military members, we could help so many more in need. One dollar is the cost of a soda! Perhaps we all can skip one soda and donate the dollar to support our military men and women.
We need your assistance!
We know that the economy is suffering greatly! We know that everyone is finding it hard to make ends meet however, as Americans, we deal with all of these known difficulties in the comfort of a country that is proud, free and brave. We are afforded this luxury because of the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces.
Please take a minute out of your busy schedule, send a $ 1.00 donation and tonight when you are laying in your bed, say a silent prayer for the safe return of our men and women and perhaps a word of thanks for their dedicated service.
Thank you for your time and donation.
Respectfully,
Michael Whitt
